Premiere Gotham Knights is fast approaching. The new production set in the DC universe will debut on the market in less than a month. On this occasion, developers systematically publish video materials presenting the title – for example, we recently had the opportunity to see gameplay from Nightwing’s fight against Harley Quinn.
Meanwhile, more interesting information about the title has hit the network. It turns out that the game will offer a lot of content, and one approach is not enough to fully understand the story prepared for us by the creators.
You won’t see everything in one go. This is because there is a lot of content that is unique to the character’s perception – Geoff Ellenor, the game director, said in an interview with PLAY magazine (via Gamingbolt).
In the upcoming production from WB Games Montreal, players will be able to freely switch between the four main characters, and each of them has to react differently to individual events. This was described in detail by Wilson Mui, who is also involved in the development of the game:
Structurally The scenes will be similar to each other and will generally suit all the protagonists, but each has its own version. The characters move differently, speak differently, have different stories with all the characters, which allows us to create a personal version of the scene. If you play as Batgirl you will get the Batgirl version, if you play as Robin you will see the same scene in the Robin version. Some of them will be very similar to each other, but will have slight, subtle differences.
Finally, it is worth recalling that Gotham Knights is coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X / S consoles. The game will debut on October 21.
