Ed Sheeran will perform at the National Show on Thursday and Friday (August 25-26). – During the events, entry to Saska Kępa will be restricted. The most convenient way to get to the concerts and return to them is by metro and SKM trains, remind the officials.

Polish fans of Ed Sheeran did not disappoint. The British musician’s interest in the concert was so great that the singer decided to perform in Warsaw two days in a row. The gates for both concerts will be opened at 4 pm. At the same time, difficulties in Saska Kępa will begin.

On Thursday and Friday, until 8 p.m., the following areas will be excluded from individual traffic: al. Poniatowskiego, al. Washington, ul. International, al. USA and Wał Miedzeszyński and al. United States, Wał Miedzeszyński, Afrykańska and Bora-Komorowskiego. The bans will not apply to people with SK IDs, ZTM vehicles, taxis and two-wheelers.

Closed streets

The police may decide to close individual streets. If Sokola is closed, from Zamość to Wybrzeże Szczecińskie, from 16 to the end of the concerts, line buses 102, 125 and 202 they will go along Targowa and Kijowska streets to the Dw. Wschodni (Kijowska) terminus, a 146 and 147 Coast of Szczecin and Zamość.

If Sokola, Zamoście and Zamoyskiego streets are closed, the following lines will be directed to the detour routes: 102, 125, 135, 146, 147, 202 and Z-1. Line buses 102, 125, 202 and Z-1 will run along Targowa and Kijowska streets to the Dw. Wschodni (Kijowska) terminus, 135 will go Targowa, a 146 and 147 al. Zieleniecka.

If, after the concerts, around 22:15, a large group of participants will want to go to the center on foot, the police may decide to close the Poniatowski Bridge and Al. Jerozolimskie on the section from the Washington Roundabout to the de Gaulle Roundabout.

If the crossing is excluded from traffic, trams and buses of Warsaw Public Transport will be redirected to the detour routes. Line compositions 7 and 25 they will go over the Śląsko-Dąbrowski bridge. Line trams 9 and 24 on the downtown side, the routes on the pl. Starynkiewicza, and on the Praga side to the Ratuszowa-Zoo. Line 22 on the left bank of the Vistula, it will go from Piaski to pl. Starynkiewicza, while on the other side it will run in the loop: Wiatraczna – … – al. Zieleniecka – al. Washington – Wiatraczna.

Additionally, a replacement bus line will be launched Z-9 on the route: pl. Zawiszy – Al. Jerozolimskie – Nowy Świat – Al. Ujazdowskie – Trasa Łazienkowska – Łazienkowski bridge – Wał Miedzeszyński – Zwycięzców – Saska – al. J. Washington – Wiatraczna.

Line buses 111, 117, 158, 166, 521, N22, N24 and N72 They will bypass the closed part of the routes on the Łazienkowski Bridge.

After the concerts are over, additional buses of the line will leave the route 111 and 509. From the Washington roundabout, you can take them towards Gocław and Winnica, respectively. There will also be more trams. On the changed route, Gocławek – … – al. Washington – al. Zieleniecka – Targowa – Ratuszowa – Jagiellońska – Ratuszowa-ZOO transport passengers by tram line 9. Line compositions 26 however, they will run from Zieleniecka towards the Młociny Metro.
