– This is a reason to be proud, because the years pass and people there still remember me. And not only as a footballer, but also as a human being. It’s even more important. On Thursday I am flying to France for the “Match of Legends” and a gala at which I will have the opportunity to meet my friends who I have not seen for a long time – said Jóźwiak in an interview with the portal “Interia.pl”.
In addition to the former Polish representatives, the group of distinguished players includes great personalities of the world of football. Among others, Didier Drogba (2002-03), Florent Malouda (2000-03) and Hubert Fournier (1993-96) were awarded.
Marek Jóźwiak played for Guingamp from 1996 to 2001. He has appeared in 119 matches. Andrzej Szarmach represented the French club for two seasons (1985-87) and scored 33 goals.
