Preparations are underway for the Top of the Top Sopot Festival, which begins in the evening. On Tuesday, on TVN24, artists Ralph Kaminski and Mezo talked about their emotions before the concerts. – There’s a lot of adrenaline. There is very little time for rehearsals, admitted Kaminski. He added that he would present a new song during his performance at the Sopot festival. Mezo announced that he would perform one of his most popular songs with his 17-year-old daughter Zuzanna. – When Zuzia was born, the song “Important” was composed three months earlier – he recalled.
Top of the Top Sopot Festival starts on Tuesday evening and will last until August 19. It will gather the greatest stars of Polish music, and guests from abroad will also come. In this year’s program, the first three days are a series of concerts, followed by a comedy evening COMEDY FEST. On the first day of the festival, the stage of the Forest Opera will be performed by: Lady Pank, Mrozu, Patrycja Markowska, Kayah, Fisz Emade Tworzywa, Kwiat Jabłoni and Julia Pietrucha.

Kaminski: We do it to entertain people
One of the performers to be seen on the Top of the Top Sopot Festival stage will be Ralph Kaminski.
In an interview with TVN24 reporters on Tuesday, the artist described his preparations for the concert. – There’s a lot of adrenaline in here. There is very little time for rehearsals, he said about the festival.
He admitted that he very much appreciates the kind words he receives from his fans. – What I’m doing is for the viewers. We do it to entertain people, to come and forget about reality, about their world, about their worries. This is our main task – he said.

He also stated that he loves performing in front of an audience. – I was born to perform in front of people and I love it. Of course there is stress, especially when there is television. Especially when it’s live. All things can happen, he said. “It’s very stressful to do live TV, we play everything live,” he added.
He also admitted that the main theme of his new album “Bal u Rafała”, which will be released on August 31, is dance, so during his concert in Sopot there will be choreography. “This is a very specific choreography,” said Ralph Kaminski. He announced that there will also be a new song.

Mezo will perform with her daughter. “It’s a song with a story”
Mezo will also appear at the festival, who will perform the song “Important” with his 17-year-old daughter Zuzanna. – When Zuzia was born, the song “Important” was written three months earlier, so that it is already a song with a history – he said.
He added that this one of his most popular songs was created very spontaneously. – When you have a good flow, good inspiration, you just write good texts – he explained.
– I am in Sopot for the fourth time – said Mezo. – I remember this place, I am building this atmosphere anew, this is the top shelf – he assessed.
– I am always stressed by my dad’s performances – admitted Zuzanna. “But I know everything always works out well,” she added.
