The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhny, had a conversation on Friday with the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Mark Milley, in which he informed about the situation on the front line. “I noticed that the opponent is spreading disinformation about the situation at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant, accusing it of shooting at the Ukrainian military,” he said.

Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Ukraine General Valeriy Zaluzhny informed on Telegram that he had received an assurance from his interlocutor about unwavering support from the President of the USA Joe Biden, both houses of parliament and the American people. The general thanked for another aid package from USA and consistent support for the Ukrainian struggle for independence.

The Ukrainian commander added that he had informed General Milley about the situation on the front line. “I noticed that the opponent is spreading disinformation about the situation at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant, accusing it of shooting at the Ukrainian military,” Załużny said.

Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant occupied by the Russians

Located in the south of Ukraine, the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant, the largest in Europe, was seized by Russian forces on the night of March 3-4 and has been under Russian control since then.
