The rocket landed near a pipeline supplying oil to Europe. “The damage is repaired”

The news site on Telegram Mash reported that the Ukrainian military fired a Tochka-U tactical missile at the Druzhba pipeline. The missile was supposed to land near the pumping station in Nowozybków, which made it necessary to disconnect it from the power supply.

Experts who arrived at the site estimated that the oil station was slightly damaged and without electricity. The Tochka-U missile was supposed to create a crater with a diameter of 20 m.

Bryansk region borders Ukraine, it is located north of Chernihiv and Sumy regions. The rocket was supposed to hit a part of the pipeline located in Novozybkov, about 35 km from the border with Ukraine.

There is no information on fatalities.

These are not the first problems for this pipeline caused by the war. In November, Russian missiles and drones destroyed part of the infrastructure that runs through Ukrainian territory. This temporarily stopped the flow of oil.

In turn, in October there was a leak from this pipeline in Poland, specifically in the province of Kuyavian-Pomeranian. western section, where one of the two threads was unsealed, connects the raw material base of PERN in Miszewko Strzałkowskie with the MVL tank park in Schwedt. According to PERN, raw material for two refineries in Germany flows through this part of the pipeline. One thread is down for a while.
