Piotr Rutkowski indicated the main contender to win the title of the Polish champion this season. – Raków Częstochowa is the biggest favorite – assessed the owner of Lech on the Meczyki channel (YouTube).
In the last season, Lech Poznań won the coveted Polish championship after seven years. In the decisive phase of the games, “Kolejorz” turned out to be better than Raków Częstochowa, which had to settle for second place in PKO BP Ekstraklasa.
The good disposition of Marek Papszun’s players is appreciated by league rivals, an example of which is the statement by Piotr Rutkowski in an interview with Dawid Dobrasz. The owner of “Kolejorz” claims that Raków is the main favorite for the final triumph in the 2022/23 season.
– It is not only my opinion that Raków Częstochowa is the biggest favorite to win the Polish championship. It must be honestly said – assessed.
– We have our problems, we have a poor start and we have a huge challenge ahead of us. Legia has its problems. We’ll see how Pogoń played fantastically last season. Raków, on the other hand, played very well, a very, very interesting project, very well managed – he continued.
– It is a completely different project than ours, so it is very difficult to compare the clubs to each other. Raków is based on a fantastic job, but also the heart of Michał Świerczewski. If it wasn’t for him, Raków would probably not exist. He’s doing a very good job – Rutkowski finished.
