Stan Boris in mourning. He can’t come to Poland for the funeral. “Zosia raised me” – Super Express

This was not how he envisioned the end of the year. In December Stan Boris he participates in Christmas Eve meetings organized for the Polish community in the USA, he tries to smile, although his heart is aching. A few days ago his beloved sister Zosia died. They were very attached to each other.

She was the one who raised me most of the timeshe always helped her parents. And when I started my career on the stage, in the theater or on the stage, Zosia sewed costumes for my performances. I gave her ideas and she implemented them. She was a very good seamstress. It fulfilled my visions of costumes in times when there were not many in stores Stan Borys remembers with a smile.

Zofia lived to a beautiful age – over 90 years old, she passed away surrounded by her loved ones. Unfortunately, Stan was not among them, which the artist cannot accept. When he learned about her death, he planned to buy a plane ticket to Poland. But his well-being deteriorated and instead of in the country, he ended up … at the doctor.

– I really wanted to be at the funeral, but the doctors forbade me to fly to Poland for such a long time. My health has deteriorated to the point where I can’t even get on a plane to attend the funeral of my beloved sister… throws the musician away.

The last time they saw each other was a year ago, when Borys came to Poland for his 80th birthday in the fall. Then he hugged his sister for a long time. Memories and photos from the last meeting remain.
