Let us remind you for many days we have been observing an intensified offensive of Ukrainian troops in the Kharkiv and Kherson oblasts. As the general staff informed on Monday, the Russians were expelled from about 20 towns in the Kharkiv region.
The troop advances are lightning fast, a the first Ukrainian flags begin to fly in towns several kilometers away from the state border, incl. in Wołczańsk, Łypcia or Kozaczna Łopania.
Propaganda in Russia. “Everything goes according to plan”
On the website of the newspaper “Kommersant” (in Polish for “Entrepreneur”) an article appeared entitled: “Due to the retreat in Ukraine, the search for followers may become complicated for Moscow.” – But hardly any journalist uses the word “retreat” in his articles, rather he spells “regrouping the troops”, because it must be emphasized that “everything is going according to plan” – says in an interview with Onet Podróże a Pole who has lived in Moscow for many years.
The propaganda continues. According to the woman, in the social media there is a dictionary of war supporters, in which “war is a special military operation, the murder of civilians is the defense of civilians, and the retreat is the regrouping of troops”.
However, the defeats do not scare the Kremlin, the government wants to continue the war. Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov says “special military operation” will continue “until all her goals no will be achieved “.
The disappointment of the Russians
What are people saying?
– Many so-called Patriots (this is what the Russians call the supporters of the current government) condemned Putin because on September 10-11, when Moscow suffered a defeat at Kharkov, the Russian president celebrated Moscow Day and had the best of it, he reports.
The woman recalls the information regarding the attack on Putin. – His spokesman says that there was no attack, but representatives of the Russian government often lie. I remember that at the beginning of February they said that there would be no war with Ukraine … – he points out.
