Yevgeny Prigozhin, a Russian businessman associated with the Wagner group and one of Vladimir Putin’s closest associates, announced the creation of training centers for the so-called “mass mobilization” in the regions bordering Ukraine. Radio Swoboda, citing local Russian media, reports that announcements regarding recruitment for training appeared on social media on the profiles of the Wagner group.

Centers to train the so-called “common rush” (Russian: opołczenije) will be open in the Kursk and Biełgród regions, we read. – Yes, indeed, we are creating training centers for the mass movement – said Prigozhin, nicknamed “Putin’s cook”, quoted by his press office.
He added that he was financing the centers, but called on regional business to support the preparation of this “mass move”. – If you own a small plant with 100 people, 50 of them are sexually mature males, then 25 percent of them should serve in the trenches and 75 percent continue their work. And so in turn: a week in the trenches, three at home and in the factory – he continued.
Radio Swoboda, citing the local Russian media, reports that in social media, on the profiles of the Wagner group, there were announcements regarding recruitment for the “mass start”.
