Russia – Ukraine. Five points to help Ukraine win the war. The head of the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gabrielius Landsbergis, proposes

Ukraine has deserved our full support in bringing Russian President Vladimir Putin to justice for every crime he has committed, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis wrote on social media. He presented a five-point plan that, in his opinion, is to help Ukraine end the war “quickly and forever”.

“Putin’s genocidal plan to wipe out Ukraine from the map failed. (Vladimir Putin – note ed.) there is no position for any negotiation. The war must end with his unconditional surrender, “he wrote on Twitter Gabrielius Landsbergis. “Ukraine deserved our full support in bringing Putin to justice for every crime he committed. There can be no compromises, excuses or exceptions,” he stressed.

The head of Lithuanian diplomacy also stated that Ukrainian forces could oust troops Russia already “months ago”, if they had received the necessary equipment from the first day. “If we armed Ukraine faster, thousands of houses would be in their place. Thousands of lives would be saved. Thousands of children would now be safe with their parents. We must recognize the fact that the concessions did not contribute to their protection” – he stressed.

The head of Lithuanian diplomacy added that “the Ukrainian people have done more than enough to deserve respect”.

A five-point plan for Ukraine

Landsbergis then presented a plan in five points which he said would “help Ukraine end this war quickly and forever.” According to the Lithuanian minister, it is necessary to:

1. Make all types of Western advanced weapons available to Ukraine (MGM-140 ATACMS ballistic missiles, tanks, airplanes);

2. To oblige the international community to create and enforce safe zones around nuclear power plant territories so that Putin cannot use them as a weapon;

3. Clearly define the “red lines” and make it very clear to Putin the consequences of crossing them in order to discourage him from making his last desperate moves;

4. Representatives of the International Criminal Court and other institutions should be quickly dispatched to the territories liberated by Ukrainians to investigate the crimes committed there;

5. Quickly integrate Ukraine with FOR THIS and the European Union.

“No more looking at Ukraine with superiority. No more hesitation. No more negotiations with terrorists. Those who doubted Ukraine’s strength should apologize. Ukraine defended us all, even when some did not believe they could succeed. Now is the time, that we show our deep gratitude, “Landsbergis wrote.
