Another high-level manager
The daily “Kommirsant” reminds that he is not the first high-level manager of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation to be killed this year.
In early February, the corporate director general, former deputy governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Igor Nosov, died. The cause of death – as reported by the Russian media at the time – was a stroke. Nosov served in office from May 2021.
Recently, there has been a series of unexplained deaths of high-level managers related to the Russian energy sector in Russia.
In May, information about the death of one of Łukoil’s managers was reported Alexander Subbotin. Earlier, Russian media reported that he had died in the mountains near Sochi Andrei Krukowskihead of the Krasnaya Polyana resort, which belongs to, inter alia, Gazprom.
In the second half of April, the Spanish media reported that the police found the bodies in a luxury estate in the resort of Lloret de Mar near Barcelona. Sergei Protoseniaformer vice president of the Russian private gas giant Novatek (Gazprom has a stake in it), his wife and daughter.

On January 30 this year, the RBK website wrote that the body of the 60-year-old head of the Gazprom-Invest transport service was found in one of the summer houses in the Vyborg region in the Leningrad region Leonid Szulman. The man was about to commit suicide.
In early March, the independent “Novaya Gazeta” announced another death of Gazprom’s manager – the 61-year-old Alexander Tuliakov. His body was found in a garage on the territory of a summer cottage, also in the Vyborg region. A farewell letter was found next to Shulman, but – as Novaya Gazeta emphasized at the time – its content was not disclosed.
