Robert Lewandowski broke the barrier of 30 million followers on Instagram.
Robert Lewandowski was undoubtedly one of the biggest heroes of the summer transfer window in Europe. The words of the captain of the Polish national team confirming that he wants to leave Bayern Munich only fueled further media reports on this topic. Despite the clear position of the player himself, we had to wait a bit for the announcement regarding his transfer. The one who welcomed him to Barcelona appeared on July 19.
The confusion about the transfer, as well as the change of club colors, of course increased the interest in Lewandowski. This can also be seen in social media. In April, the Polish footballer was watched by 25 million users on Instagram (data from Speakrj.com). Before the transfer to Barcelona alone, it was 26 million followers, and after that the number rose to 28 million.
Recently, Lewandowski managed to break the round barrier and he is currently followed by over 30 million people on Instagram.
The number is impressive, although it must be emphasized that the difference between Cristiano Ronaldo, Leo Messi and Neymar, and other players, including Lewandowski, is huge. The aforementioned three on Instagram are followed by 483, 362 and 178 million users, respectively.
