Robert Lewandowski reacts to the fans’ words about the Golden Ball. “It’s a lie”
Robert Lewandowski in an interview with “La Vanguardia” talked about, among other things, the features of Bayern Munich he lacks in Barcelona. As he said himself, the key was stability, which now would come in handy in many difficult moments.
– Firstly, because the club goes through difficult moments, but it is easy on the pitch, when as many as six players returned with injuries during the national break. It was a difficult period, especially with weaknesses in defense. It made us lose our stability. We were developing as a team and suddenly we stopped – said Robert Lewandowski.

There was also a question about the Golden Ball of France Football. Although Lewandowski has won many team and individual awards, he did not receive this award, which is considered the most prestigious form of appreciating a footballer’s game.
– It’s a great honor, but I don’t think about it every day. I didn’t come to Barcelona to win a Golden Ball as some said. It’s a lie. Golden Ball is not my obsession. In my life I have achieved everything I dreamed of – Lewandowski explained.
The Barcelona forward was also asked about working with Xavi. The FC Barcelona legend has been enormously successful as a player, but it’s not that easy on the coach’s bench.
“He knows what we need to do, and even though he doesn’t have much experience, everything he has gone through in his amazing career is helping him improve our situation. (…) Each coach is different and I don’t want to compare them. I was lucky to train under the best trainers in the world. It’s not that Xavi only looks for new methods, he explains everything very well – said the Polish representative.
It is already known that Lewandowski will not play in the next match of FC Barcelona in the Champions League. According to the Spanish media, the reason for his absence from the team is back pain.
