What has failed to be done in the summer, Paris Saint-Germain intends to do in the winter. The club will renew its efforts to get Milan Škriniar – assures “La Gazzetta dello Sport”.
Even though Parisians had been aiming to hire the Slovak throughout the summer, Inter Milan eventually managed to keep him at home. Much of the credit goes to the club owner who said “enough” at one point.
For some time, the “Nerazzurri” have been trying to persuade the player to sign a new contract, tempting him with an increase in the current salary. The problem is that the negotiations have stalled.
This creates ideal conditions for the January talks for the French champions, who can put the Italians against the wall six months before the end of the contract.
According to “La Gazzetta dello Sport”, PSG has already set the amount it will offer for the 27-year-old in winter. That’s 30 million euros.
The last offer of the team from Parc des Princes was twice as much, but it was made at a completely different time. Today, the representative of Ligue 1 knows that this will be the last chance for the employer to earn more.
Milan Škriniar agreed in the summer to sign a contract valid until June 30, 2027 with a salary of EUR 9 million net per season.
In the ongoing campaign, the defender has yet to miss a single game, amassing nine appearances.
