PS VR2 – list of games for the premiere. The list is impressive, but only some titles offer cross-buy

At CES 2023, Sony confirmed its willingness to deliver over 30 productions for the premiere of PlayStation VR 2. Players have collected a list of confirmed titles and the list looks good, but it is worth noting that only in some situations we can count on an easy transition from PS VR to PS VR2.

At the end of February, PlayStation VR 2 will debut on the market, so gamers will be able to experience the possibilities of next-gen virtual reality goggles from the Japanese corporation. However, it is no secret that even the most interesting hardware needs a sufficient number of good games, and apparently Sony can count on the support of third-party developers.

We can already distinguish over 30 titles that we will be able to play on PS VR2 on the day of release – but currently only ten titles will offer a free transition from the previous to the current generation.

The list does not lack items from Sony teams (Gran Turismo 7, Horizon: Call of the Mountain), but the manufacturer will strongly benefit from the help of external developers who prepare their games for PS VR2 or transfer previously completed projects.
