PS Plus criticized by players. Customers cannot switch subscriptions and take advantage of Sony promotions

Japanese manufacturer PlayStation launched a new PlayStation Plus promotion last week. However, players cannot change the subscription to a lower one and then take advantage of the offer, because Sony decided to block such an option.

PS Plus is on sale for Black Friday and players can buy or renew their subscription with a discount of up to 25%. This is a good proposition considering that players do not really have many options to reduce the subscription price.

However, as you know, many players are not satisfied with the content of PlayStation Plus Premium, so those interested decided to lower their subscription to PlayStation Plus Extra and then take advantage of Sony’s latest offer.

However, as it turns out – Sony decided to block this option, and although the player can jump from PS Plus Premium to PS Plus Extra, after using this option, he will only be able to subscribe to the still active offer.

If you currently have PS Plus Premium until, for example, January 15 and switch to PS Plus Extra, you will be able to purchase the PS Plus Extra offer only in the second half of January – customers must wait until the end of the current plan to be able to purchase additional months of the subscription and thus … take advantage of the promotion.

It is worth noting that the problem also occurs when you jump from PlayStation Plus Extra to PlayStation Plus Essential.
