Polska Grupa Górnicza lowered the limit of a one-off purchase in its online store from 5 tonnes of coal to 3 tonnes. The company explains it by the desire to increase the availability of the raw material for individual recipients and to enable the purchase of coal by a greater number of customers.

PGG published information on the reduction of the limit for one-off purchase of coal in the corporate zone of its website.

Last week, PGG increased – by an average of approx. 20 percent. – and unified coal prices for individual customers, then selling over 120 thousand. tons of coal for households. So far, it has been a record number of transactions on a weekly basis and the number of coal intended for sale through this distribution channel.

As reported on the PGG website, the sale of this amount of coal made it possible to make a record number of transactions: from Tuesday to Friday, coal could buy over 26,000. customers.

“In order to increase the availability of the raw material for individual customers and to enable the purchase of coal by even more customers, the company introduced a limit of 3 tons for one customer (previously 5 tons) in cash collection from mines (previously 5 tons),” PGG informed.

In the middle of last week, the company improved the functionality of its online store for individual customers: adding a product to the basket now guarantees its purchase.

According to PGG’s information, from the beginning of the year to Friday, the PGG e-shop supplied over 190,000 fuel. customers. So far, almost 800,000 households have reached households via the e-store. tons of coal at the producer’s price.

A widely available online store is to remain the dominant sales channel for PGG fuel coal for households.

Last week, Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa, the largest producer of coking coal in the EU, informed about the commencement of sales of steam coal to individual customers. Coal, the supply of which is expected to reach 180 tons per day, is also sold at the Budryk mine with a limit of 3 tons per buyer. (PAP)
