Partial mobilization in Russia. How will the fate of the war in Ukraine affect? General Waldemar Skrzypczak comments

I exclude the possibility of sending 300,000 soldiers to the front at the same time, because they need to be trained and equipped with equipment, said General Waldemar Skrzypczak, commenting on TVN24 about the partial mobilization in Russia. He added that although it will be “a significant injection to the military potential of the Russian army”, it will “not be a breakthrough in the war”. – It all breaks down when you resort to such things – assessed the military.

On Wednesday morning, Vladimir Putin ordered partial mobilization of the Russian armed forces with immediate effectwhich is to cover 300,000 people. He also announced support for pseudo-referenda to join the four occupied regions Ukraine to Russia and again threatened the West with nuclear weapons.

How this decision may affect the situation on the war front was told on TVN24 by the former commander of the Land Forces, retired Lieutenant General Waldemar Skrzypczak.

– The declared number of soldiers, 300,000, who are to be called up as part of this mobilization, will certainly be a significant injection to the military potential of the Russian army. However, this potential will definitely not be ready for now. In my opinion, they will be successively brought to the front not earlier than in December or January – he said.

He also said that “he excludes the possibility of sending 300,000 soldiers to the front at the same time, because these soldiers must be trained and equipped with equipment”. – Russians are now reaching for deep reserves of equipment, downloading equipment from the 60s, 70s and 80s and these soldiers need to be trained for this equipment (…). Not all of them will go right away, because there is no equipment for this army, the general pointed out.

Gen. Skrzypczak: it all breaks down when you resort to such things

– This mobilization caused great anxiety in the Russian society. At the moment, we do not know at what level this will happen, but it is clear that what is happening in the Kremlin is the result of what is happening in the war and that this government and this system are corroding. It all breaks down when you resort to such things – assessed the military.

He was asked to what extent this partial mobilization could change the fate of the war.

– I would call it a captive rather than a mobilization, they will force these people into the army, because they know what criminal liability will await them. However, in my opinion, there will be no breakthrough in this war, because I emphasize that the Ukrainian army is in good shape at the moment. This is evidenced by the fact that they operate in four different directions. This is a great effort for the Ukrainian army, he continued.

– Today the Ukrainian army has such potential that allows it to conduct large-scale operations along the entire front and, in my opinion, by October they are able to achieve the goals they set for themselves – stated General Skrzypczak.
