Manchester United announced the squad for the Premier League on Wednesday and quite unexpectedly found themselves accused of rape and beating his ex-girlfriend Mason Greenwood.
The Premier League season is slowly getting started with the teams announcing the final squads for the coming months. Manchester United boasted of his statement on Wednesday afternoon.
It probably wouldn’t have been anything special, were it not for the fact that Mason Greenwood was on the list.
The nearly 21-year-old was suspended until further notice in January, and this is related to the accusations of rape and beating his ex-partner, Harriet Robson. The couple dated each other for several months, but they broke up in 2020.
The girl then posted photos of individual parts of her body on Instagram, where you could see numerous bruises and a broken lip. For this, a video was also made available, where a football player forces a woman to have intercourse.
It is not known yet why Greenwood was included in the list of under-21 players signed up for the Premier League. Perhaps Manchester United will issue a relevant statement soon.
