Kamil Wojtkowski was presented as a new Motor Lublin footballer.
Motor Lublin announced that Kamil Wojtkowski signed a contract with him valid until June 30, 2024 with an extension option.
Born in Sokołów Podlaski, the offensive midfielder made his first football steps in the local Sports and Recreation Center, from where he moved to Legia Warszawa, and then to Pogoń Szczecin. In the colors of “Duma Pomorza”, the young player made his debut in Ekstraklasa, and soon after he decided to transfer to RB Leipzig. In the German club he played in juniors.
In 2017, Wojtkowski returned to Poland, tying up with Wisła Kraków. He played in Ekstraklasa quite regularly in her jersey. His next club was Jagiellonia Białystok, but the adventure between the parties only lasted a few months. It ended with an off-court jump – failure to stop the car for police control, a crash and running away from the scene.
After this incident, the footballer, who made 83 appearances in Ekstraklasa, tried his hand at the Greek Volos NPS (10 matches) and the Cypriot Ethnikos Achna (17 games). Now he is coming back to Poland. He will compete with Motor in the 2nd league (the third level of the competition).
– Kamil is a creative player who should bring a lot of quality to our offensive actions. We hope that he will show his full skills in Motor – said Paweł Tomczyk, president of the club.
