Grzegorz Sandomierski has found a new club. He will play again outside Poland – this time in the Greek APO Levadiakos.
This weekend, the games of the Greek Premier League will start, and APO Levadiakos will stand at the start. The team located in Livadia is a newcomer who has recently been active on the transfer market.
This team has clearly seen the Polish league recently as an interesting market for acquiring new players. Since February 2021, Themistoklís Tzimópoulos (formerly Korona Kielce) has been playing there, while recently the player of this team has also been Michal Škvarka, known from Wisła Kraków.
On Tuesday, it turned out that this is not the end of new faces associated with Ekstraklasa in the past, because information about the contracting of Grzegorz Sandomierski has appeared.
The 32-year-old has been without a club since July after his contract with Górnik Zabrze expired. However, he did not complain about the lack of offers, and finally agreed to the proposal to move to Levadiakos. The details of the contract are unknown.
Golkiper has a really interesting past, because in his career he played in such clubs as Jagiellonia Białystok, Lech Poznań, Dinamo Zagreb, Blackburn Rovers, Genk and CFR Cluj.
He has been associated with the aforementioned Górnik Zabrze since July 2021 and for this team he recorded a total of 22 appearances, and in five of them he had clean sheets.
