OFFICIAL: Artiom Dziuba has left Russia. The first foreign career challenge

Artiom Dziuba ended his long stay in Zenit Saint Petersburg in order to start the first foreign challenge in his career in the colors of Adana Demirspor.

The nearly 34-year-old player did not decide to extend the expiring cooperation with the titled Russian team and ended up with football unemployment at the beginning of July.

Since then, the experienced center forward has not complained about the lack of interest and, after a series of speculations, decided to try his strength outside his home country for the first time in his career.

Artiom Dziuba signed an annual contract with Adana Demirspor with the option of extending the cooperation for another twelve months.

In the new team, he will work with coach Vincenzo Montella and fight for a place in the starting line-up with Britt Assombalonga and Mario Balotelli. The latter, however, is strongly associated with the abandonment of the ranks of the Turkish team in favor of Sion, which may enable him to bring in a multiple Russian representative.

Dziuba went to Zenit Saint Petersburg in July 2015.

Since then, he has played in 249 matches of the Russian club, noting 108 hits and 70 assists, which translated into winning, among others, four championships and two the title of the top scorer of the Polish competition.
