OFFICIAL: Aleksander Buksa landed in a new club. It will start with… reserves

Standard Liège announced the signing of Aleksander Buksa. The student of Wisła Kraków will play in the second-league reserves of the Belgian club for the time being.

Before the start of the current season, Aleksander Buksa received permission from Genoa for a loan. A representative of the Belgian top league, Oud-Heverlee Leuven, came for him.

Although the interested himself had high hopes for this move, for half a year he did not get a chance to present himself in the first team. Instead, he played in the third division reserves.

There, he showed a really good side in several clashes, scoring five goals in 16 matches.

However, the player’s environment, together with Genoa, decided that a transfer would be a better solution for his development. There have been talks about a move to Standard Liège for several days.

These were successful, and on early Sunday afternoon there was official news on the future of the talented striker.

It is worth noting that Genoa and Standard are linked by the owner.

Buksa is moving to Belgium on a temporary transfer until June 30, 2023. For now, the Pole will play in the Belgian club’s second-league reserves.

SL16 FC is currently the tenth powerhouse of the Jupiler Pro League.
