It took just one day of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta on personal computers for players to run with a working wallhack. Console players should turn off cross-play, because that’s the only way they can get past cheaters.
Yesterday, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta was launched on other platforms – for the first time, PC players can get to know the game and it only took a few hours for the community to start complaining about cheaters. These are not just empty words, because you can easily find materials in which scammers show gameplay with, among others, wallhack.
This is interesting because Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the second installment in the series to receive kernel-level cheat protection, but as you can see even this situation has some cheaters. Activision has even secured itself and players have to assign a phone number to an account, but even in this situation some players are using illegal software to gain an advantage during the game.
If you’re going to check Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on consoles, it’s best to disable cross-play, as otherwise you might run into cheats.
