On Friday, October 7, Vladimir Putin celebrates its 70th birthday. The Belarusian independent news portal NEXTA has published the congratulations that the Russian president received from the Belarusian dictator. Lukashenko is called Putin “real leader” and mentions Fr. “protection of traditions and values of Russian citizens”.

As a true leader of a great power, you make well-balanced and difficult decisions to ensure the independent development of the Russian Federation and to protect the traditions and values of Russian citizens.

This is not the first time that a Belarusian dictator, who supports the Russian invasion, has spoken cynical words on the occasion of various holidays. On August 24, when Ukraine celebrated its Independence Day, the leader of the regime wished the Ukrainians who had been fighting Putin’s troops for over half a year “a peaceful sky, tolerance, courage, strength and good luck in restoring a dignified life.”
Meanwhile, in November, when the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border was underway, probably controlled by the authorities in Minsk, Lukashenka mentioned about the believes in rational dialogue and common pragmatic, unifying ideas. He also wished us solidarity, prosperity and the certainty of tomorrow.
