Grzegorz Markowski has been present on the Polish music scene since the 1980s. He has played with the Perfect band for over 30 years. During the pandemic, he did not hide the fact that he did not tolerate isolation and the time without concerts. His decision to leave came as a surprise to his fans and bandmates.
Grzegorz Markowski was one of the stars of the festival Top of the top in Sopot. Together with his daughter he sang the song “I can not give you much”. The audience reacted very lively when the musician appeared on stage in the company Patrycja Markowskawhich she held his hand for most of the song, apparently supporting her father. Their performance of the Perfect ballad touched the audience gathered at the Forest Opera, who listened intently to the performance.
Grzegorz Markowski appeared in a classic black shirt and pants, and his baby shone at his dad’s side in a sequin suit with black and gold stripes.
Grzegorz Markowski will not appear on stage again?
Patrycja Markowska recently revealed that it is more and more difficult for her to persuade Grzegorz Markowski to perform together, although she does not intend to stop and would like her father to appear on stage with her, because they work very well together.
– Attempts with him are very quick. I think this is one of my dad’s last shows. I will persuade him all the time, and I hope he will agree sometimes – she said in conversation with Pudelek.
The singer’s daughter was surprised by saying that he doesn’t want to go on stage anymore and it costs her a lot to persuade him to make an exception from time to time.
“Honestly, my dad doesn’t want to work anymore, he doesn’t want to sing. I pull him by the ears a little, hoping it will give him wings.” – she said in an interview with cozatydzien.pl.
Grzegorz Markowski resigned from performing on stage, among others due to deteriorating health. However, he has not publicly declared whether he is struggling with any disease. This point remains his personal affair.
