This fight has been talked about behind the scenes for a long time. KSW Federation not yesterday had an idea to organize such a duel. When Szpilka, after the victory over Denis Załęcki in September, said that he was returning to sports challenges and performances for the largest MMA organization in the country, Wrzosek was the most serious candidate for the crossing of gloves with Tomasz Adamek’s slayer. Szpilka does not hide his satisfaction with contracting this duel.

– The duel with Wrzosek is a sports challenge for me. First of all, he is a great kickboxer, but as everyone knows, I have always liked sports challenges. I fought much better against a player with whom I had more to play. As I said before, I treat MMA as an adventure, so it’s great that such a duel will take place – emphasizes in an interview with Przegląd Sportowy Onet, the former contender for the title of the world heavyweight champion in professional boxing.

What was the backstage of this ranking? Szpilka admits that he did not think long about accepting the fight. – There was something that Arek said during one of the interviews that he would like to fight me. I was asked later if I was interested in such a duel, I immediately replied yes. We have a fight! – said the player from Wieliczka.

Arkadiusz Wrzosek achieved many successes in hit sports. In the past, there were, among others the holder of the world champion title in K1, he was the champion of the Old Continent in the muay thai formula. In addition to performing for the legendary federation Glory and being knocked out at one of the Badra Hari galas, the 30-year-old also held the FEN belt.

– A piece of a fighter who can fight and has a great heart, but remember that this is MMA – analyzes Szpilka, who in the past competed in professional boxing in the ring with, among others, Deontay Wilder, Tomasz Adamek, Bryant Jennings and Jameel McClin.

The pin for its fights in the MMA formula is being prepared at the Warsaw Athletics Center. Both players have known about this duel for some time. The former boxer hopes that he will not be injured during the preparation.

– We have already talked with the coaches initially, because it is known that the idea of this fight was not born today, it has been going on for two weeks. Of course, there are plans, now it is only important that he is in good health and there are no injuries. To work! – “Szpila” finished.
