Krychowiak assesses Lewandowski’s failures in the Champions League. A surprising thesis

I am more on the side of the whites – he stated and analyzed further the attitude of “Lewy”, comparing him to the best players in the world.

– I know that there are no irreplaceable people. There are only single examples like Messi. It’s a phenomenon that can make a difference by itself. Robert needs situations, crosses, offensive play to score goals. He is a player who can create individual situations, but not as often as, for example, Messi – says Krychowiak.

The 32-year-old also revealed that after FC Barcelona was eliminated from the Champions League, he did not contact “Lewy”, but decided to make a different move.

– I sent a message to coach Michniewicz. Even before the training camp, he told us that we have a great team, he gave players who had achieved some success. I was one such example that I won the Europa League twice. When Barcelona and Juventus were eliminated from the Champions League, I thought they took it too personally and were jealous to be as successful as me, he said with a smile on his face.
