Katarzyna Cichopek shed tears at the sight of Witold Pyrkosz. Touching scenes

On November 13, a special issue of “Question for breakfast” was broadcast on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of TVP. The morning program of Dwójka did not run out of talks about old programs, series and stars of the public broadcaster. During one of such conversations, together with Katarzyna Cichopek and Teresa Lipowska, about “M jak miłość”, Witold Pyrkosz, who died in 2017, was mentioned. Actresses met him regularly on the set of the series Dwójki for 17 years.

During the talks about the backstage of work in the most popular Polish series, Teresa Lipowska was asked about the toughest moment on the set of “M jak miłość”. The actress recalled a scene she had to play after the death of her serial husband. – For me it was a very touching and devastating moment when Wituś Pyrkosz passed away. I was supposed to read a letter of his, which he wrote when he was sick, but he knew that he was leaving. I go with this letter to his beloved orchard and start reading it. It really was very touching for me. And my husband stood before my eyes and Witek, whom I liked very, very much and we got very close. These were real tears. Really real tears – said Teresa Lipowska on November 13 in “Question for breakfast”, and the viewers saw a special video with various scenes with Witold Pyrkosz from “M jak miłość”.

It was during the broadcast of the video with Witold Pyrkosz that Katarzyna Cichopek allowed herself a moment of weakness. Thinking that the viewers see only fragments of “M jak miłość” on the screen, which actually took place during the long period of broadcasting the archival film, she shed a few tears, which at one point was shown by the camera “Questions for breakfast”.
