The mayor, and Nowicki’s private friend and godson, Eugeniusz Gołembiewski, revealed in an interview with “Fact” what Jan Nowicki’s last moments looked like: – Janek ate dinner and went to sleep. Around one in the morning he woke up, got up and fell over… The important thing was that he didn’t suffer!
It is no secret that Jan Nowicki was a heavy smoker. It turns out that it was this addiction that led to serious health problems. Atherosclerosis contributed to cardiovascular disease.
“He was having trouble oxygenating his body. Atherosclerosis appeared, among other things, because Jan Nowicki passionately liked smoking cigarettes. Sometimes he would say that he was as healthy as a horse, while cigarettes caused atherosclerosis problems […] Doctors emphasized that he should stop smoking cigarettes, but of course Mr. Jan was the king of life and he had always believed that one should live in such a way that this life gave him pleasure
– said the mayor of Kowal, Eugeniusz Gołembiewski in an interview with “Super Express”.
Jan Nowicki was waiting for an operation
Six months ago, Nowicki underwent a bypass surgery. Unfortunately, just before his death, it turned out that he had to undergo another procedure, which was scheduled for December 13. The actor did not live to see this day…
— As far as I know, he was getting ready for another operation related to atherosclerosis. The first one was successful, but it’s hard to say what happened. Jan Nowicki died on his terms. He left in such a way that each of us probably wished for such a departure
