It looks like a sponge. What is this strange white raid?

According to the National Forests, the English call “Dog sick slime mold” because of its resemblance to … dog vomit. The Poles turned out to be much kinder, because they call it “Mucilago crustacea”. We are actually dealing with a slime mold.

And as you probably already guessed, if something has a bizarre name and does not look like anything special, it is probably a slime mold.

“The slime mold is harmless, hunting for microorganisms and climbing on the blades of grass and small twigs, where the magnificent rosemary can be seen in peace. We admire it, we do not destroy it” – we read on the profile of the State Forests.

According to Wikipedia, mousse is found on all continents except Antarctica and Australia. In Europe it can be found dispersed. This slime mold chooses open areas, such as meadows, farmlands, gardens. It occurs on a variety of substrates, such as the stems of plants and shrubs. It can be observed from March to November.
