Is Kamil Grosicki’s farewell coming? The footballer talks about his plans

The winger is one of the most important figures in the Polish representation of the last decade. He has already accumulated 86 appearances in the national team and scored 17 goals in them. He made his debut under Leo Beenhakker in February 2008. Now he emphasizes how important it is to play in the Polish team.

– I have always said that I will never resign from the national team, but I realize that the years are flying by, my time is passing, and the team has to invest in young players. I have a dream to go to the world championship, and after the World Cup there will be time for decisions – says Kamil Grosicki in an interview with Sportowe Fakty WP.

The 34-year-old is in no hurry to say goodbye to the national team, but he realizes that this is something that is coming fast.

– I am happy with each new appointment, this is how I approach it. I do not look ahead, I try to play my best in our yard. This is my third training camp during the term of coach Michniewicz and I want to show with a good game that I deserved it. I have to make the most of every minute in the squad, as if it were my last minute in the national team – says the midfielder.
