Fewer and fewer invoices. The data is straightforward
The largest decreases in the number of invoices issued in the third quarter can be observed in such industries as information and communication, transport and warehouse management, according to the analysis of the Faktura.pl platform.
– This year there are significantly fewer invoices, and in the third quarter there are even fewer of them than in the second one. The trend is clear and, in addition, based on a large sample. This can mean trouble for small businesses that have lost some contracts or have been left with a limited number of orders from current business partners – says Grzegorz Grodek, president of faktura.pl.

– Some entities actually fail and suspend their activities. It doesn’t end with announcements like “I think I’ll have to close the company”. Fewer companies mean fewer recipients of services and products, so the number of invoices issued decreases – adds Grodek.
As the representatives of the platform emphasize, behind small companies, a similar decline will also affect large companies, because “SMEs are the litmus test of the entire economy.”
According to CEIDG, in the period January-September 2022 nearly 147 thousand people disappeared from the CEIDG registers. sole proprietorships.
