Fernando Llorente dreams of powering the giant. “I could be his replacement for free”

Fernando Llorente admitted in Cadena SER on “El Larguero” that he would very much like to join Real Madrid as a replacement for Karim Benzema.

The experienced striker did not renew his contract with Eibar in the summer and from then on he is waiting for another call in his career, because he does not intend to finish this despite being 37 years old.

The former sniper of Athletic, Juventus, Sevilla, Swansea City, Tottenham, Napoli or Udinese Calcio has the best moments of his adventure with football behind him, but still he dreams of joining the ranks of one of the European giants in the form of Real Madrid.

In the past, Fernando Llorente had the opportunity to join the “Kings”, but the Basque Country club refused to sell it on the terms offered to him, and the current Spanish champion did not intend to activate the buyout clause.

Now signing a contract with Real Madrid seems unlikely, although the player himself does not lose hope and is ready to play for this team even “for free”.

– I don’t know what the future holds, but I’d like to keep playing. I’m not thinking about ending my career yet. I’m still training and looking for something exciting, and if I don’t find it on the pitch, I’ll look for something else that will keep me busy, ‘admitted Llorente.

– I’d like to play for Real Madrid. At the moment, it is the best team in the world. Would I agree if Ancelotti called me and asked if I could be Benzema’s replacement for free? Of course it is, ‘added the former Spain international.

The 37-year-old finished his past struggle two hits and assisted in 22 appearances.
