An ammunition depot exploded in the north of Crimea, the Russian news agency TASS reported on Tuesday, citing the administration of the Mayskoye settlement.

According to Liveuamap, two people were injured as a result of the explosion. The population within 5 km was evacuated.

“A Russian military unit is burning in the Jankoj region in the occupied Crimea,” said the chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars Refat Chubarov. “An ammunition was hit in an orc military unit (Russians – ed.) Earlier on Tuesday, RIA Novosti reported a fire at a transformer substation near the city of Jankoye in the Crimea.
