Elon Musk has lost the greatest fortune in history. Is this the end of the multi-billionaire?

Elon Musk, until recently, boasted the largest fortune in the world. The entrepreneur fell off a high horse, getting into the Guinness Book of Records. No one would like to receive his award.

Elon Musk – the richest in the world?

Elon Musk has recently become a living legend. Just two years ago, one of the richest people in the world was on the podium, ahead of Bill Gates. In 2020, the entrepreneur earned more than the entire assets of Microsoft’s main shareholder. This gave him the second place among the fattest wallets in the world.

Elon Musk is a born businessman. The entrepreneur is the founder and president of several giants such as PayPal, SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink and Boring Company. Recently, there was a lot of talk about Musk’s takeover of Twitter, when he intended to impose additional fees. Now his star seems to be fading.

Elon Musk in the Guinness Book of Records

Until recently, Elon Musk could boast of numerous achievements and general recognition. In 2021, he was named Time magazine’s man of the year (the billionaire reminded about this fact recently on Twitter). Now he has become famous in the Guinness Book of Records.

The organization reported that Musk had officially broken the record greatest loss of personal fortune in history. In 2021, he had USD 320 billion in his account, and in January 2023, he dropped to USD 138 billion. More than half of the loss of property made him stand out from the rest.
