Although more than two months have passed since the death of Queen Elizabeth II, some still wonder if the Queen died of old age. It was this reason that was entered on the death certificate of the monarch, although in the meantime many other theories about the queen’s departure have appeared. New facts have come to light. It turned out that Elizabeth II may have been struggling with a rare type of cancer before leaving.

Shortly after the monarch’s death, Australian doctor Dr Deb Cohen-Jones, analyzing recent photos of the queen, concluded that Elizabeth II may have been struggling with peripheral vascular disease. What did Queen Elizabeth II die of? “She could have suffered before she died”.

The monarch had cancer?

Now, new light on the circumstances of the queen’s death has been shed by Gyles Brandreth. He is a friend of the late Prince Philip and a former member of the UK Parliament. The subject of the circumstances of Queen Elizabeth’s death was raised by the man in the upcoming biography of the monarch “Elizabeth: An Intimate Portrait”. Gyles Brandret has denied that Britain’s longest-reigning queen died due to her advanced age. The writer reports that Queen Elizabeth II struggled with myeloma. It is a rare cancer of the hematopoietic system. Myeloma proceeds in many stages, and the person struggling with it gradually loses strength and weight, which was clearly visible in recent photos of the queen.

“I heard the Queen suffered from a type of myeloma – a cancer of the bone marrow – which would explain her fatigue and weight loss, and the mobility issues we’ve heard about a lot over the last year of her life.” – quotes the writer of The Mirror.

What kind of illness is that?

It is estimated that each year in Poland nearly 3,000 people are diagnosed with multiple myeloma. It is a malignant tumor of the hematopoietic system, originating from mature cells of the immune system, called plasma cells. The disease is most often diagnosed in people aged 65-74.

The most common symptoms of myeloma include:

  • bone pains
  • pathological bone fractures
  • malaise and weakness
  • renal failure – chronic or acute
  • elevated calcium levels (hypercalcemia) with disturbances in consciousness, bowel function, heart rhythm.
