CD Projekt RED took care of 60 frames per second in Cyberpunk 2077 on the Xbox Series S, but it turns out that the latest update also refined the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions. The company reduced input lag during ray tracing.
Digital Foundry confirmed positive information about Cyberpunk 2077 – the production of the Polish corporation on the Xbox Series S in the default mode continues to work at a resolution from 1440p to 1296p at 30 frames per second. However, players can now turn on a new gameplay variant offering 60 fps from 1080p to 800p.
In the latest proposal, Cyberpunk 2077 proposes higher liquidity with less detailed graphics. However, you have to be aware that there are some compromises – 60fps in XSS is associated with worse quality of shadows and textures, worse lighting inside buildings or smaller crowds on the streets.
Cyberpunk 2077 also received interesting input lag fixes on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in rayt racing mode – after patch 1.6, gameplay on XSX is characterized by a delay of 136 ms, compared to 163 ms (1.5) previously measured. For the PS5, 135ms was measured.
“This is an easily noticeable and huge improvement over the older version of the game.”
