Cinema Festival. On Sunday, October 30, cinema tickets are PLN 10 each
– We are returning to the pre-pandemic tradition of celebration cinema and watching movies on the big screen. We know that the viewer has returned to the cinemas, but so far this return has been for big, international titles. Polish films are starting to do better now. This holiday is not only a gesture of the cinema industry, but also an impulse to go to your favorite cinema on Sunday, to see what has changed there – says Joanna Kotłowska, president of the Polish New Cinemas Association.
At the same time, he notes that “Several new cinemas have also opened since the pandemic”and the last few weeks have brought the premieres of a dozen Polish films.
The Cinema Festival is a nationwide campaign involving the largest cinema chains, as well as mini-multiplexes and one-screen cinemas. Its idea is to popularize film art, disseminate cinematography, and above all, to promote cinema as entertainment available to everyone. This is a unique opportunity to see premiere films and the current repertoire on the big screen. On this day, you can catch up with the cinema backlog for only PLN 10 (plus a service fee in the case of online purchase).
