The Borrowers Support Fund 2022 is help for people who find themselves in a difficult financial situation and have to pay back mortgage installments. Now you can check if you can apply for help. UOKiK has launched a special financial calculator, thanks to which you will find out whether you are entitled to use the Borrowers Support Fund. Not only those with PLN loans, but also those who took out a loan in a foreign currency, can benefit from the assistance. The calculator will calculate, among others the amount of the loan installment after changing the interest rate.

What will the new Borrowers Support Fund calculator calculate?
The new calculator is an additional option to check whether people in a difficult financial situation are entitled to use the Borrowers Support Fund. The calculator will calculate not only the value of the loan installment after changing the interest rate, but also the approximate amount of the loan installment in the event of an increase interest rates and funds saved thanks to overpayment.
It is worth getting acquainted with the simulation of the installment increase very carefully and prepare for possible higher burdens, check the savings due to possible overpayment and verify what help in repayment of the loan can be obtained – said Tomasz Chróstny, President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.

Borrowers Support Fund 2022 – what is the support?
The Borrowers Support Fund is a returnable financial support for borrowers paid for a period not longer than 36 months, while the individually determined amount of support may not exceed PLN 2,000. PLN per month. The funds are transferred by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego directly to the borrower’s bank that applied for the support. Where to submit an application for help from the Borrowers Support Fund?
The application should be submitted directly to the bank that granted the housing loan.
