POLITCO journalists read the document accompanying the search warrant. It shows that Trump had documents marked as “TS / SCI” which indicate one of the highest levels of confidentiality. As reported by NBC, the former president had eleven sets of such documents.
FBI agents also found a note labeled “Info re: President of France”, so about French President Emmanuel Macron.

The warrant said federal law enforcement was investigating Trump for the removal or destruction of paperwork, obstruction of the investigation, and violations of the Espionage Act. A conviction under these laws could result in imprisonment or a fine.
Documents due to be released on Friday show how big a threat to national security is that Trump possesses them. The Justice Department has called for them to be made public in the face of continued attacks by Trump and his Republican Party allies. Investigators’ concerns were so great that US Attorney General Merrick Garland last week approved an unprecedented search of Trump’s property.
Trump spokesman Taylor Budowich said the FBI move was “not only unprecedented, but unnecessary.” He says “lies and innuendo are now leaking to explain the attacks by the ruling administration on their main political opponent. It’s outrageous.”
