Bartosz Slisz with a surprising foreign transfer ?! Negotiations have started

Bartosz Slisz may in the coming days leave the ranks of Legia Warszawa for Girondins de Bordeaux – reported Santi Aouna and Hanif Ben Berkane from “Foot Mercato”.

In February 2020, the central midfielder became the hero of the largest transfer in the history of Ekstraklasa by completing the move from Zagłębie Lubin to “Military” for 1.84 million euro.

Representatives of the team from the capital city believed in making a large investment in the future, not only in terms of sports results, but another cash transfer with the participation of Bartosz Slisz.

However, the 23-year-old player has not yet achieved the expected level. Despite this, he can still count on a regular game in the ranks of Legia Warsaw and enjoy the interest of several foreign clubs.

Among them, Girondins de Bordeaux expressed a very specific interest in the former youth representative of Poland.

Santi Aouna and Hanif Ben Berkane report that the Ligue 1 relegate has selected Slisz as a worthy successor to Jean Onana, who is already one foot in Spezia Calcio.

For this reason, the “Girondins” made appropriate contact with the “Military” in the matter of working out a possible agreement relating to the transfer of the midfielder.

If the team from Łazienkowska expresses openness to parting with the 23-year-old, the French side will be interested in borrowing a Pole with an option to buy it out. Another type of transaction is out of the question as the Girondins de Bordeaux are under strict financial supervision and cannot afford to make cash operations in the closing window.

In the coming hours, we will probably know the position of Legia Warszawa on the future of Slisz, who played in six matches in the current competition.

This summer, the ranks of the “Girondists” were joined by another Pole – Rafał Strączek, and in the past, Grzegorz Krychowiak, Ludovic Obraniak and Igor Lewczuk have played in this team in the past.
