Bakeries in desperation. “Bread for PLN 12 or a bankruptcy”

Many bakers and confectioners talk about astronomical bills for gas and electricity, galloping prices of raw materials or the slow outflow of customers who treat coffee and cake as a luxury.

The Northern Chamber of Commerce talks to entrepreneurs who are in a terrible situation. – Since May, the price of gas has increased by 760 percent. In August, more blows. The increase compared to March is 947 percent. These are unimaginable costs. How much would a roll, bun or bread have to cost? 10 zlotys? 12 zlotys? – wonders Wiesław Żelek, owner of a bakery, incl. in Kamień Pomorski.
