Assassin’s Creed Mirage will debut later than many expect? We know the month of release

Ubisoft will launch a specific promotion for Assassin’s Creed Mirage in the coming months. The new part of the valued series is heading to the market, but the latest leaks suggest that we will have to wait for the premiere until the second half of 2023.

The first to talk about Assassin’s Creed Mirage was Jason Schreier, who confirmed that the production is scheduled to debut in May. If the news is to be confirmed, we should see new materials from the game in the coming weeks, and the publisher should start a detailed promotional campaign.

However, that may not be the case as Tom Henderson has unearthed new details. Information on Insider Gaming mentions another internal title delay.

The game is scheduled to be released in August – although initially Ubisoft wanted to launch the title in the first part of the year. Assassin’s Creed Mirage, however, was supposed to have a “double delay”. Thanks to this, the production can bypass the mass of large AAA items that are to debut in the first six months of 2023.

Tom Henderson could not confirm what problems Assassin’s Creed Mirage is facing, but the informant suggests that developers may have a problem with taming previous generation consoles.

At the same time, the insider received preliminary information about the next Assassin’s Creed Red projects, which is due to debut in 2024, but the title has had “some problems in development”, which may cause a delay. On the other hand, the Assassin’s Creed Hexe project has been positively received and the game may soon enter pre-production. Hexe plans to hit the market in 2026.
