AS Roma interested in a Chelsea defender

Trevoh Chalobah to leave Chelsea? This is a possible scenario, because Chelsea is showing interest in it again, reports Corriere dello Sport.

In recent days, Fabrizio Romano has informed about a possible transfer of Trevoh Chalobah. The talented defender was linked to a transfer already in the summer, but it was eventually decided to keep him.

It turns out, however, that there is not much room at Stamford Bridge for a 23-year-old player, so it is very possible that in London they will decide to sell it in the winter.

Where can it go? Teams such as AC Milan, RB Leipzig and Inter Milan recently wanted him. Here, however, the proposals were consistently rejected.

AS Roma was also present among those willing to take the services of an Englishman in the summer. However, this team lacked specificity.

José Mourinho, however, has been making it clear for some time that if the club’s leadership wants to compete on several fronts, a wider team, and thus a new central defender, will be useful.

Chalobah therefore seems to be an interesting solution and soon none other than sports director Tiago Pinto – reports – Corriere dello Sport reports. It seems that in this case the loan is most likely.

The Chelsea player has played a single game against Leicester City since the beginning of this season. The contract is valid until June 30, 2026.
