– In February this year, my agents came to Amsterdam to inform Ajax of my willingness to leave the club and face new challenges. We knew that several bands were interested and that a great offer would come Antony said.
– In June I interrupted my vacation and personally came to the club to inform the bosses and the new coach of my intention to leave. I wanted them to consider this possibility – he revealed.
– In the following months, our meetings continued and I received a proposal to extend the contract. Then I made it clear again that I wanted to leave. At today’s meeting, I repeated it – added.
– Ajax declined, citing as an argument that he only had five days to find my successor. I’m not asking the club to fire me, but to sell me as the most expensive player in Eredivisie history. I have been insisting on this since February – finished.
