Alexander Lukashenko also warned against any closures and attempts to exit the market. “You will be held responsible for any store or facility closing or leaving the market.” – said the Belarusian leader.
During a government meeting, the Belarusian president stated that the country needed to curb the rapid rise in prices and ordered the central bank to submit new proposals to contain inflation.
From the same meeting with government representatives it appears that inflation in Belarus is expected to reach 19 percent this year.
