A bloody shootout at a Russian school. There is Putin’s reaction

As reported by the Russian news agency TASS, the Russian president “deeply sympathizes with all those who lost their loved ones and their children in this tragedy, and wishes those injured in this inhuman act of terrorism to recover”.

The Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin also expressed condolences to the families of the victims. He assured that all victims would receive help.

In turn, the spokesman of the president of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, announced that the effectiveness of measures to ensure safety in schools will be analyzed, TASS informs.

As a result of Monday’s shooting at a school in Izhevsk, the capital of the Udmurt republic in the European part of Russia, 15 people, including 11 children, were killed. 24 people were injured – told Reuters behind the Russian Investigative Committee.

The attacker shot 11 children, as well as several teachers and security guards. The governor of Udmurtia, Aleksandr Brechalov, arrived at the scene and announced in a video on Telegram that the perpetrator of the crime would later commit suicide.

A drastic video has appeared on the web that shows the body of the alleged bomber. The man is dressed in a black t-shirt with a red swastika on his chest. His body is lying in a pool of blood in one of the classrooms.

The tragedy in Izhevsk is another such event in a Russian school in the last two years. In May 2020, nine people were killed in Kazan, including seven children. In September 2021, six were shot and 47 people were wounded in the building of the University of Perm.
